Frequently
Asked
Questions
Artists will be informed about the outcome of their submissions! It will typically be 2-3 weeks after submissions close. For example, for our ISSUE 02, all artists will be informed about the outcome of their submissions by November 31st.
There are no subject matter guidelines for our issues, unless specifically stated. You are welcome to create on any subject and in any form. This includes music!
This is not a paid opportunity, unfortunately. Sprig Magazine would love to one day be able to provide this for our artists. However, we are a very small production and do not currently have the funding to offer paid opportunities.
Due to the high number of artists involved in our issue, we cannot offer contributor copies. Our magazine is available to purchase on our website and with our supplier stores.
sprig
Sprig Magazine acknowledge the sovereignty of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples over the lands and waters upon which our contributors live, work, and create. This sovereignty has never been ceded. We acknowledge the Turrbal and Jagera / Yuggera Peoples and their traditional custodianship of the areas around Meanjin. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, while recognising that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are the continuing custodians of millennia-old stories, traditions, and histories.
